The countries with the most visitors were the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Philippines, Germany, Netherlands, South Africa, New Zealand, and India. Favorite Cookbooks:
I started doing regular cookbook reviews in 2015 and have come across some incredible books over the past four years. Here are my ten favorites from 2019 (not necessarily released in 2019, but reviewed):
Chinese Heritage Cooking from My American Kitchen
The Real Japanese Izakaya Cookbook
Here are some of my favorite kitchen products used this year:
We had such fun using this Taiyaki Pan to make Nutella Taiyaki
My heavy duty cast iron roasting pan has come in handy for a variety of dishes such as this Macarona Bechamel (Egyptian Baked Pasta).
I also came across this huge 15 inch round pan to make Alevropita (Greek Thin-Batter Feta Pie).
My mini muffin tin somehow got misplaced during our move to California, so I replaced it with this 48-cup mini muffin pan just in time to make Gingerbread Cookie Cups.
We also had the opportunity to visit some wonderful places:
California:
Denmark:
- Copenhagen: Experimentarium and Den Blå Planet
- Copenhagen: Nyhavn, Christiansborg Slot, and Strøget
- Copenhagen: Rosenborg, Torvehallerne, and Nationalmuseet
- Copenhagen: Rundetårn, Amalienborg, and Langelinie
- Copenhagen: Tivoli Gardens, Nørrebro, and Vesterbro
