salata tomatim bel daqua (2 of 5)

Salata Tomatim Bel Daqua is a Tomato salad from Sudan. Peanuts make their way into many dishes in Sudan, like this salad made from tossing together tomatoes, green onions, parsley, and green chili pepper. It is then coated in a peanut butter lime sauce.

Evan pleasantly surprised me by devouring this salad. It must have been the peanut butter coating. He usually isn’t as crazy about tomatoes. I loved the salad and how quickly it came together. Chad said it was just alright. He also isn’t a huge fan of raw tomatoes. Poor guy doesn’t know what he is missing. Fresh tomatoes are one of my favorite things about summer.salata tomatim bel daqua (1 of 5)
