Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded Napa cabbage
  • 2 carrots peeled and julienned
  • 1 Asian pear peeled and sliced into matchsticks

Dressing:

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Garnishes:

  • Sliced almonds toasted
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  • In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, and Asian pear pieces. Toss with dressing. Top with almonds and sesame seeds.
