Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (227 grams) cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 8 ounces (227 grams) Irish or sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup (80 milliliters) Guinness
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (10 grams) fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • In the bowl of a food processor, add the cream cheese, Irish or Cheddar cheese, garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Process until well combined.
  • Add Guinness and process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and fold in the green onions and parsley. Adjust the salt to taste.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors blend.
  • Serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, and/or bread.
