A recipe for Peppermint S'mores Dip! This sweet and creamy milk chocolate ganache is covered in a layer of chopped candy canes and mini marshmallows, then broiled until toasted.
12ounces(340 grams) milk chocolatefinely chopped or chips
1/2teaspoonpeppermint extract
3candy caneschopped
2cups(120 grams) miniature marshmallows
For serving:
Chopped candy canes
Mini chocolate chips
Graham crackers
Instructions
In a small saucepan, place the cream over medium heat. Once it is starting to steam, but not yet boiling, remove from heat and add the chocolate.
Allow to sit for 1 minute before gently stirring until smooth. Stir in the peppermint extract.
Divide the mixture among mini broiler-safe dishes or in one larger broiler-safe serving dish.
Allow the ganache to cool at room temperature until starting to thicken.
Sprinkle the chopped candy canes over the chocolate ganache. Top completely with marshmallows.
Set the broiler to low. Arrange the mini or large serving dishes on a baking sheet and place on the center rack of the oven. Broil until the marshmallows are toasted to desired color.
Sprinkle the top with chopped candy canes and mini chocolate chips. Serve immediately with graham crackers.
