Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (227 grams) fresh strawberries hulled
  • 2/3 cup (160 milliliters) olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons (15 grams) finely chopped shallots
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the strawberries, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, shallots, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth, then adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Drizzle the vinaigrette over desired salad or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days.
