This Strawberry Hot Chocolate was a refreshing way to use the extra strawberries from my CSA box. Even Chad enjoyed the strawberry-infused beverage. Make sure to use a fine mesh strainer to keep bits of strawberry out of the drink and the texture smooth.
I mashed the berries before adding them to the milk, but they can also be tossed into a blender and pureed.
For garnish, I sprinkled mini marshmallows, mini white chocolate chips, and some pink sprinkles over the hot chocolate. Whipped cream would also be great.
