Happy 2021!

1 January, 2021 by Tara 14 Comments

Happy 2021! I usually start these yearly posts by saying it has been a wonderful year of food and travel for Tara’s Multicultural Table. Not quite the case this time, but here is to hoping the new year will be better. Total views for the year were 2,721,222 with an average of 7,422 per day- up from 1,439,218 in 2019!

The countries with the most visitors were the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, Philippines, Germany, Singapore, India, and New Zealand. Thank you all so much for your support and I am excited to see what new recipes 2021 brings.

Disclosure: I received the cookbooks in exchange for my honest reviews. All comments and opinions are my own. This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you purchase something through the link, I may receive a small commission at no extra charge to you.

Here are some of my favorite kitchen products used this year:

I finally used this Norpro Mini Madeleine Pan for the first time to make these Hojicha Madeleines.

These JoyJolt Afina Cocktail Martini Glasses were perfect for featuring my White Chocolate Espresso Martini and I now often use them for a variety of drinks and chilled desserts.

I love the color of this Nordic Ware Round Copper Cooling Grid first featured with my Broyé du Poitou (Shortbread from Poitiers).

Travel:

Not much travel happened this year. My big planned trip to Tokyo in April (which was diverted to Sydney in February before both being cancelled completely) will hopefully happen next year or in 2022.

I did finish up my last Denmark post from 2019:

  • Kanelsnegle (Danish Cinnamon Rolls) and Helsingør, Denmark

Plus a couple of areas here in Los Angeles:

  • Rocky Road Cookies and Los Angeles: La Brea Tar Pits
  • Basil Parmesan Scones and Lomita, California

Happy 2021 Everyone!
