Happy 2017! 2016 was a great year of food for Tara’s Multicultural Table. Total views for the year were 509,924 with an average of 1,401 per day. The countries with the most visitors were the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, and Philippines. Thank you all so much for your support and I am excited to see what new recipes 2017 brings.

And my personal favorites of the year:
I started doing regular cookbook reviews in 2015 and have come across some incredible books over the past two years. Here are my five favorites from 2016 (not necessarily released in 2016, but I reviewed in 2016):
Here are some of my favorite kitchen products that I came across this year:
This Guidecraft Kitchen Helper was by far the most used kitchen product for 2016. When Evan was younger, he was very sturdy on his feet and could be trusted to just use a stool. As Claire became more interested in helping, she was a bit smaller and not quite steady with walking yet. With this enclosed helper, I didn’t have to worry about her falling backwards.
I used these cute little Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Commercial Mini Loaf Pans to make miniature-sized Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread loaves.
I purchased this Freshware Silicone Bar Mold to make my own chocolate bars. So far my favorite is filling it with melted dark chocolate topped with matcha-coated coconut.
