Happy 2017! 2016 was a great year of food for Tara’s Multicultural Table. Total views for the year were 509,924 with an average of 1,401 per day. The countries with the most visitors were the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, and Philippines. Thank you all so much for your support and I am excited to see what new recipes 2017 brings.
Disclosure: I received the cookbooks in exchange for my honest reviews. All comments and opinions are my own. This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you purchase something through the link, I may receive a small commission at no extra charge to you.

I started doing regular cookbook reviews in 2015 and have come across some incredible books over the past two years. Here are my five favorites from 2016 (not necessarily released in 2016, but I reviewed in 2016):
The Food of Oman by Felicia Campbell
Samarkand by Caroline Eden and Eleanor Ford
Asian Dumplings by Andrea Nguyen
Koreatown by Deuki Hong and Matt Rodbard
Tasting Rome by Katie Parla and Kristina Gill
Here are some of my favorite kitchen products that I came across this year:
I used these cute little Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Commercial Mini Loaf Pans to make miniature-sized Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread loaves.
I purchased this Freshware Silicone Bar Mold to make my own chocolate bars. So far my favorite is filling it with melted dark chocolate topped with matcha-coated coconut.
I loved using these Lodge Miniature Skillets to make Peppermint S’mores Dip. They are super tiny, but great for photographing and as individual sauce holders.

Congrats on a very successful 2016 🙂 Also, that naan recipe – I’ve been craving Indian food like mad lately and I’m adding that one to my list of recipes to try.
