Happy 2026 from Tara’s Multicultural Table! 2025 was another big year of travel, food, and amazing cookbooks.

I started doing regular cookbook reviews in 2015 and have come across so many amazing books over the past ten years!

Here are my ten favorites from 2025 (not necessarily released in 2025, but reviewed and not including digital copies):

Favorite Digital Cookbooks:

I have been getting more digital copies (PDFs) of books to review over the last couple of years and didn’t want to leave them out of the top ten simply because I didn’t have a copy to stack in a photo.

Here were my personal favorites over the last year (not necessarily released in 2025):

  • Plant-Based Chai Custard Creams and One Bake, Two Ways

Travel:

For travel, I finally shared the posts of our time at the Christmas markets in Germany last December:

We also spent two wonderful weeks in Japan seeing friends and Kyoto for the first time:

  • Iced Matcha Espresso Latte and Kyoto
  • Fox Nerikiri and Kyoto

We also spent more time around our current home in Virginia and visited Virginia Beach:

  • Creamsicle Crush and Virginia Beach Oceanfront
  • Stuffed Meatballs and Virginia Beach
